Ryder Cup Friday Live Updates live, classification: Follow the opening matches between the American and European Bethpage teams Black

The Ryder Cup is finally there.
The American team and the European team will compete on Friday morning in Bethpage Black in New York with the emblematic gold trophy on the line. The Americans, this time led by Captain Keegan Bradley, are looking to avenge a brutal loss of two years ago in Rome. The European team that rolled to victory in Italy is back and almost identical as well. Although they lost the last two outings on American soil, Europeans have won eight of the last 11 Ryder Cups in a dominant way.

The game begins Friday morning with a series of four four -four games, otherwise known as alternating shooting matches. The two teams will then return in the afternoon for four four-ball games, or better balls, to close the day. This format will be repeated on Saturday before the 12 golfers of each team will go simple for their matches in single Sunday. Each match has only one point to win, although each team will receive half a point if it is linked. The first team to obtain at least 14.5 points victories.
Bethpage Black is organizing the Ryder Cup for the first time, and ticket prices were high. President Donald Trump is expected to attend matches on Friday afternoon, which led to an increase in security during the Long Island Classic.
