Why are you inflated and how to get quick relief

Bloating can be uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing. Between 10% and 25% of people experience occasional bloating.
AMINAT OGUN, MD, family medicine doctor at OSF Healthcare, explained why bloating occur and how to get rid of them.
What does bloating look like?
Bloating is this uncomfortable, full and tight feeling in your stomach.
“It may seem that your belly is full, swollen, sometimes tender, and it can cause discomfort,” said Dr. Ogun.
It can also make your belly larger. Some people even complain of being so swollen as they seem pregnant.
This full and uncomfortable feeling is due to an accumulation of pressure inside your stomach.
Balloon causes
Boulouter after eating
Suroralimentation can stretch your stomach, which can lead to bloating. When we eat too much, our stomach feels too full and makes us feel slow.
Eating too quickly is another cause of bloating. When you eat too fast, you are more likely to swallow air. Your stomach fills with additional air, which makes your stomach with gas fill. Chewing the gum and smoking can also make you get additional air.
Gas and digestive problems
Excess gas in the digestive tract can cause bloating. Gas can be produced during the digestion of certain foods, and an imbalance in intestinal bacteria can worsen the problem.
Certain common conditions can make you take gas, such as irritable colon syndrome, celiac disease and gastroesophageal reflux.
Food intolerances
Some people experience bloating due to food sensitivities, such as lactose or gluten intolerance. When your body is intolerant to certain foods, it cannot break it before it reaches your colon. Once it reaches your colon, it creates gas bubbles, which enter your stomach. Identify and avoid triggers helps manage bloating.
Dr. Ogun suggested keeping a mark on what you eat.
“Have a food newspaper. See what triggers your bloating symptoms and see if you can eliminate these foods,” she said.
Bloating prevention
Dr. Ogur suggested a few ways to help prevent bloating.
Don’t eat too much
Mince your food carefully and eat slowly. Take smaller portions on your plate. When you eat more slowly, you will start to feel when your belly is full. You will eat less if you can feel when your body will have enough to eat.
Avoid savory and fatty foods
Foods rich in salt and fat is more difficult for your digestive system to decompose. This leads to more gas.
Stay hydrated
Drinking water can help move food in your digestive system, prevent constipation and bloating.
Relidity of fast bloating
When you feel inflated, you want relief immediately. It’s uncomfortable and can make you feel slow. These advice from Dr. Ogun should help get rid of bloating in a few minutes.
Tea
Peppermint, ginger and chamomile all have anti-bloative properties. Peppermint and ginger relax the muscles of the stomach, which reduces spasms and the feeling of being swollen. Chamomile is an anti-inflammatory herb, which helps reduce swelling of bloating. The heat of the tea also helps to relax the body.
Over -the -counter drugs
Some over -the -counter drugs help to temporarily relieve bloating. The current antacids that people use include the bismalus pepto, the gaz X and the tums. These relieve bloating and discomfort if they are caused by additional stomach acids. However, for other causes of bloating, such as gas or overeating, alternative remedies can be more effective.
Heat
Use a hot compress, a bottle of hot water or a heating cushion. The heat application on your abdomen can help relax the muscles. The heat helps get rid of the stomach pain that accompanies bloating. When your muscles are more relaxed, your body can digest more comfortably.
To move
Physical activity can stimulate digestion and relieve bloating. Incorporate light exercises, such as walking or stretching, in your routine.
When you feel swollen all the time
The duration of bloating depends on its cause. Although some instances can be resolved quickly, chronic bloating may require more investigation.
Chronic bloating can be a sign of an underlying health problem. Talk to your health care provider to feel often inflated. If you have an underlying health problem, your supplier can help you get rid of this feeling of being swollen all the time.
