Panel “Five nights at Freddy’s 2”

Josh Hutcherson and his animatronic friends are back to terrorize the comic strip of San Diego.

Participants in the Hall H Convention had an overview of Five nights at Freddy’s 2 (In theaters, December 5) in a star panel on Thursday July 24, which included Hutcherson, 32, Costar Skeet Ulrich, Piper Rubio, Theodus Crane, Teo Brones, alongside director Emma Tammi and the CEO of Blumhouse Productions Jason Blum.

The cinema team unveiled images and discussed key details of the next series of the box office in 2023 based on Scott Cawthon horror video games. Five nights at Freddy’s 2 Includes Elizabeth Lail, Matthew Lillard and Rubio who have taken over their roles from the original film, as well as the new arrivals Ulrich, Brones, Wayne Knight and McKenna Grace.

“Mike and Abby have gone through a lot in the first film. Mike just tries to find a stable life,” Hutcherson told the crowd of security guard Mike Schmidt. “He wants to have a pleasant, calm and normal life. And it just can’t happen … poor Mike. He crosses it.”

“But the link between Mike and Abby is super hard. And they arrive in a place where it is even stronger,” added Hutcherson.

THE Hunger games The actor noted that fans can expect “many more animatronics” and “bigger songs” this time. Tammi underlined the increase in terrifying animatronics, noting “there is so much more action in it … with the animatronics and it was incredibly exciting.”

“Personally, I became so invested in [these characters] And it was just an incredible opportunity to continue to be able to tell their stories and develop them, “said the director.

Despite their frightening outside, Hutcherson admitted that there was an animatronic that he would not bother cosplayer (or technically, sitting inside) at Comic-Con. “I’m going to go with a cupcake, because then I’m transported … it sounds well. There is a lot of walking here.”

Lillard, 55, who embodies Mike’s career advisor, appeared via a video message to note how Hall H. Shout The actor urged fans to go see the film so that a third party can come where he can finally kill Mike de Hutcherson.

He then presented a friend and Shout Costar Ulrich, 55, who expressed his recognition to join the franchise. “I can’t tell you how much I am honored to be part of this family and the fandom which is really voracious.”

Ulrich has teased a little about his character, sharing with the audience of Hall H: “I will say that I play someone with a particular past and a deep emotional link with what is happening.”

In April 2024, Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions confirmed on social networks that Jim Henson’s creature shop would return to design the scary animatronics of the film.

Five nights at Freddy’s 2 is in the rooms of December 5. San Diego Comic-Con 2025 takes place from July 24 to 27.
