By driving the Chevrolet # 88 for JR Motorsports, Connor Zilisch won his ninth victory of the 2025 season of the Nascar Xfinity series in Gateway. The series of nine victories earned him a regular season title in his recruit year.
Zilisch came out victorious when he took the lead for the last time of Aric Almirola with 12 laps to do and never looked back to cross the finish line in P1. He dominated the race, from pole position and at the head of a top of the 121 race of 160 laps. The victory marked Zilisch’s 10th career victory in the series.
Charlotte’s 19 -year -old driver in North Carolina crossed the 1.506 seconds finish line in front William Sawalich to take the checkered flag.
Meanwhile, William Sawalich finished second for the second consecutive time, followed by Christian Ecker, Brandon Jones and Jesse Love in the top five. Aric Almirola, Daniel Hemric, Parker Retzlaff, Corey Day and Daniel Dye finished the top 10.
