Whitney Leavitt impresses with Hamilton Foxtrot for the Disney evening

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort, “Dance with the stars” transformed the ballroom into the happiest place on the planet.
The professional dancers and the troop interpreted an opening number on “Be Our Guest” of “La Belle et la BĂȘte” with a choreography by Mandy Moore to inaugurate the Disney evening. Each of the celebrities and their partners went to Disneyland in Anaheim to prepare their performances paying tribute to the emblematic rides of the park.
The animators Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced that viewers had once again broke the voting record with 40 million votes received just Tuesday evening. Whitney Leavitt has obtained the highest scoring of the season so far with its Foxtrot over an air of “Hamilton”, but the magic night had to end bitterly when Hilaria Baldwin and her partner Gleb Savchenko were sent home.
The star of “Treatments” Dylan Efron interpreted “Life is a Highway” by “Cars”, inspired by his own love for roadtrips and adventure. His hats off to Radiator Springs seduced the ballroom and the judges. Derek Hough described Efron as “King of Quickstep”. J. Bruno Tonioli said that the reality star was on the road to the final, completing his elastic leg game and his impeccable technique. Although Efron did not dance on “High School Musical” this week, he hinted that if he remained in the vicinity next week, the fans could see a tribute to his brother, Zac.
Danielle Fishel was ready to use her Disney magic to convince the judges with her rapid passage to “I Wan’NA Be Like You” from the “Jungle Book”. In their scintillating fringes, she and her partner, Pashkov, impressed the judges with their monkey case. Carrie Ann Inaba and Hough both congratulated Fishel for her playful energy and her expressions for Disney week. But the three judges noticed an error from the star of “Boy Meets World”, which earned him every 7.
Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying showed his personality by interpreting a salsa on “Bop to the Top” by “High School Musical”. Lucas Grabeel, who played Ryan in the Disney Channel trilogy, was in the audience alongside the husband of Hoying. The judges noted a small hiccup in the turns under the arms of the star, but overall, they were impressed by the quantity of salsa content that his partner, Rylee Arnold, included in the routine.

Alix Earle wanted to show a darker side for Disney week, dancing a Viennese waltz on “Once Upon a Dream” by “Maleficent”. The judges congratulated the social media star for her enchanting dramatic turn. “It was dance as narration,” Tonioli told the star. “You have become someone else.” Inaba noticed a change in the confidence of Earle this week by leaving its comfort zone.
Hilaria Baldwin held herself for her “Star Wars” routine by making a trip to Disneyland with her husband Alec and their children. His partner Savchenko was ready to show the judges of what she is made with their quick passage to the “Cantina Band” of “Star Wars: a new hope”. Tonioli said he was looking for something that was not going in his routine tonight and said “he didn’t see him”. However, Hough said that he was still looking for what would distinguish the influencer from well-being.

Andy Richter is ready to stay in competition as long as possible. The actor and his partner Emma Slater danced a Viennese waltz on “Le Festin” of “Ratatouille”, where he disguised herself as linguine and his pro in rat.
Inaba, however, put the amateur dancer in challenge to increase the content for next week. Hough complimented his love for the art of dance but asked for a better technique. The crowd even chanted his name as he headed for the Skybox.

Zoo goalkeeper Robert Irwin went to the Walt Disney animation studios for a first projection of “Zootopia 2”, in which he plays Robert Furwin. Irwin went down in the ballroom before dancing a cha with his partner Whitney Carson on Shakira’s “Try Everything”. Tonioli compared the defender of wildlife to a cuddly koala, and Inaba asked him to move in his movements rather than staying posed to show his strength.
Elaine Hendrix has made a trip to the past, paying tribute to the emblematic Space Mountain ride. In an intergalactic gesture, the actress and her partner Alan Bersten proved to the judges that they could accept criticism. Inaba said it was his best dance of the season. Hough added that he felt like he was on roller coaster with a quick and content routine. “Go for your dreams!” Hendrix exclaimed after being tied at the top of the ranking.
The star of “Mormon Wives” Whitney Leavitt dominated the ballroom with his Foxtrot on “The Room Where It Happens” by “Hamilton”, whose recorded production was released on Disney+ in 2020.
Inaba said she loved the dance so much that her lips started to tremble before giving the reality star the first 9 of the season. Tonioli echoes these feelings, saying that she should be proud of the “breathtaking” routine. Hough was ready for the duo to amaze the Broadway audience with their talents.
The Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and his partner Ezra Sosa interpreted a Quicktep on the original “Special Spice” song from the “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” merry -go -round in Disneyland. The gymnast was delighted to pay tribute to the first Disney black princess. Inaba said the chile routine was exactly why the public loved Disney Night, and Tonioli called her Disney royalty.
Jen Affleck celebrated the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort with her children and her husband at Anaheim Park. She and her partner Jan Ravnik participated in a jazz routine on “Friend Like Me” by “Aladdin”. The new mother made a backwalkover in her jazz routine full of stuff. Tonioli said that the star of “Mormon Wives” had put a magic end at the Disney evening, but Inaba was not as impressed by his cute routine and wanted to see more from the reality TV star.
