White Sox 7-1 Blue Jays (June 20, 2025) Summary of play

Toronto – – Luis Robert Jr. struck a two -point circuit in the third round of Chicago with four -rounds and the White Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-1 Friday evening to finish an eight defeats.
Josh Rohas had a double of two points in the third for Chicago. Andrew Benintendi had a solo home run in the first and added a simple RBI in the second.
It was a double-Bullpen match, the two teams trotting a handful of relief launchers without starters available.
Grant Taylor launched a goalless round for the White Sox before giving way to the long lift Tyler Alexander (4-7), who worked four without abandoning a race. Dan Altavilla, Wikelman Gonzalez and Tyler Gilbert also came out of the enclosure of the Lights, Gonzalez authorizing a race.
Spencer Turnbull (1-1) granted four points out of five strokes and two walks on two work sleeves. Mason Fluharty granted three points on two stories and two steps, before Braydon Fisher, Nick Sandlin, Chad Green, Brendon Little and Jeff Hoffman combined for six goalless rounds.
Bo Bichette had a single RBI in the eighth for the Blue Jays.
Fluharty succeeded in two third-round withdrawals and obtained two strikes against Austin Slater for a 0-2 account. But then, the relief of Blue Jays launched four consecutive bullets to travel the Chicago Law champion. Rojas doubled in the next stick to stick two additional points.
Chicago improved at 7-32 on the road.
Aaron Civale (1-3) was to start for Chicago on Saturday against Jose Berrios (2-3).
