Where to get each weapon

Yotei ghost is exceptionally similar to its predecessor, the excellent Tsushima ghostBut a key departure is the introduction of melee weapons other than Katana for the Atsu to be handled. The myriad of ATSU weapons actually fulfills the same role as the different positions of Jin Sakai – you quickly exchange between them in combat to counter certain enemy types. The unlocking of each weapon, however, is a task that extends over most of the game.
[Warning: Progression & minor story spoilers for Ghost of Yotei.]
ATSU has a total of five melee options; Everyone is associated with a series of major quests in Yotei ghostThe experience of wandering samurai. His arsenal also extends beyond these melee weapons to include several remote options and QuickFire tools. How to acquire all the ATSU equipment is delimited below, a trek that will bring you to every corner of YoteiEzo Expansive.
How to get double katanas
Hanbei
The search for the Dual Katana Master is one of the first main tracks you have access Yotei ghostAnd should be in your rumor cards (the quest connection in the lower left corner of the card) as soon as you are loose in the Yotei meadows after the introductory sequence in which the Atsu kills the serpent. You must Track Down HanbeiA retired bonuse hunter and an knowledge of the father of Atsu who lives isolated life Beyond a mountain path on the western edge of the Yotei meadows.
The map above shows where the mountain path begins, almost directly west of the Maison d’Asu. You will climb before finding Hanbei’s hermitage, which will then be followed by a few cutscenes and a training assembly in which Hanbei throws coals, which must be deviated quickly. It is a question of showing you the advantage of speed acquired by handling two katanas – Use double katanas against enemies holding uplike spears or swords.
How to get the Odachi
Master Yoshida
Odachi is probably the second melee weapon you will get. You get it from Master Yoshidawhose dojo is located in the North section of the Tokachi range. The Tokachi range is contiguous to the Yotei meadows – the two combine in a sort of massive hub, and you will not need to go to another area to acquire Odachi. The map above shows the exact location of the Yoshida Master Dojo near Horosaru Falls.
Obtaining the Odachi is simpler; There will be a short training sequence, then you will help Master Yoshida to defend the dojo against Saito Outlaws. Odachi is a large two -handed blade that you Use against raw enemieswhich are larger than most enemies.
How to get the kusarigama
Master ENOMOTO
In order to obtain the Kusarigama, you will have to travel through two separate areas. Head north of the Tokachi range and Take the ferry through the big lake in Nayoro Wilds. Continue north through the savages of Nayoro, and Travel to Teshio RidgeEzo snow region. You will then have to go even more north Master Enomoto dojo (See the map above), beyond the Hakodake mountains.
Master Enomoto has a training montage similar to that of Hanbei, where he teaches the ATSU to endure the icy climate of Teshio Ridge. Teshio Ridge is the place where you have hunted the kitsune, one of the Yotei Six and the Spymaster Shinobi from Lord Saito. Once you have the kusarigama, a sickle attached to a metal ball via a chain, Use it against enemies holding shields – Strong attacks will break them. Kusarigama is also useful for murdering unconscious enemies at a distance.
How to get the Yari
Sensei Takahashi
The acquisition of Yari – a traditional Japanese lance – also requires traveling in a separate area. In the Northwest corner of Yotei meadowsYou will find a Go to the Ishikari plainWhere you familiarize yourself with the Matsumae, the Samurai clan fighting against the Forces of Saito. You will probably bring together a rumor Sensei TakahashiWho also disagrees with Saito.
Takahashi is not at his dojo, illustrated above, when you reach Ishikari Plain for the first time (if you do not have the rumor leading to Sensei Takahashi, you can recover it by visiting his dojo). You rather need Find it on the island of Modaiwa off the west coast From the Ishikari plain. Takahashi’s training sequence involves launch fish, but once you have the new weapon, Use the Yari against double stop enemiesLike those who held two hawks or a kusarigama.
Where to obtain each weapon from a distance
Arcs, bombs and pistols
ATSU distance weapons are also dispersed in all Ezo, but not always linked to major quests such as the main melee weapons. Throughout Yotei ghostYou can acquire a hankyu (medium arc), a yumi (long arc), bombing and blind bombs, and a tanegashima (a matchlock rifle). Here is where to find everyone:
Hankyu and Yumi
The two arcs become available almost immediately; Everything you have to do is Buy them in Ran the Bowyer. RAN can usually be found in the inn for each region and can visit you while you are at the camp. The first place where you can get the hankyu and yumi is at Yotei’s Shadow Innwhich is northwest of the ATSU house in Yotei meadows, and easily accessible at the start of the game.
Burning bombs and blind bombs
You can acquire two disposable bombs in Ishikari Plain, where you are going to track the ONI. Both will be ISA acquired the bombs manufacturerwhich is closely associated with the group of quests of Sensei Takahashi. Ina can be found In the fire cricket canyon at the southwest corner of the Ishikari plain. You will first get burning bombs (which explode and light up the enemies on fire), and the blind bombs can later (these disorienting enemies).
Tanegashima
Yotei ghost Save the Matchlock rifle quite late in the match. When you are looking for the Saito brothers – the dragon and the spider – you will end up with Make your way to the Oshima coast. This part of the story cannot be accessible before having crossed the kitsune and the ONI off of the Atsu the Atsu belt. You will receive the Tanegashima during the main quest seriesIt is therefore impossible to miss.
Where to get each weapon Quickfire
Shinobi tools
The last set of weapons available for ATSU in Yotei ghost is an assortment of QuickFire tools used by pressing R1. You have dishes, a powder for blind enemies in the middle of the fight; Kunai, throwing knives that can be used with certain armor sets to extend the chain assassinations; Smoke bombs, stun enemies and obscure Atsu; The ONI flame, an oil to temporarily light your melee gun on fire; And the Tanzutsu, a matchlock pistol that can add to your killing sequence in the clashes.
Metsubushi
ATSU’s blinding powder is very early in the game, before leaving the Yotei meadows. It is associated with a premiumAnd the Rōnin sought will try to use it against you in your duel.
Kunai
You will find Kunai in Teshio Ridgeobtained during the fight against the nine tails, the Shinobi league of the kitsune. A woman named Hana will ask for your help to defend her farms – the easiest to reach the first is the Contested farm south-east of Red Crane Inn. Hana will give you Kunai and sell you improvements.
Smoking bomb
YoteiSmoke bombs are also acquired in Teshio Ridge as part of the main quest. You will come into contact with a Shamissen player named Oyuki at Red Crane Inn; Continue to work with Oyuki against the kitsune and she will eventually give you smoked bombs.
ONI’s flame
ONI’s flame is also associated with Main quest in the Ishikari plain. By working with Sensei Takahashi, in the bombs manufacturer and Jubei to undermine the reign of the ONI, you fight enemies who can bring down their weapons, shortly after which you will have access to the capacity.
Tanzutsu
Unlike Tanegashima, you will have to look for the Tanzutsu. It can be acquired by going to Matchlock Murata workshop on the Oshima coast (See the map above). Murata has a short quest associated with the pistol, which is the last weapon that you will receive Yotei ghost.
