WASHINGTON — With the second batch of episodes of the final season of “Stranger Things” arriving on Christmas Day, all that’s left is the series finale.
Episodes 5, 6 and 7 arrived on Christmas Eve as the fifth and final season continues. The broadcast of three episodes picks up right after the events of the first four episodes which premiered on November 26.
The new episodes will lead up to the series finale.
What time does the “Stranger Things” finale come out?
The series finale of “Stanger Things” arrives on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31. But don’t worry, you won’t have to wait until midnight for the episode to air.
For the first time ever, fans have multiple options for experiencing the series finale. The final episode, titled “The Rightside Up,” will be simulcast on Netflix and in over 350 theaters in the United States and Canada on December 31 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and screenings will continue through January 1, 2026.
The series finale lasts approximately 2 hours and eight minutes, according to the Duffer brothers, who created the series.
