What to see in theaters

While we are officially deepening the month of July, the last few weeks have been filled with summer blockbusters and independent films to discover to the public. From the Schurfs singing to the Slashers of Gen Z, this season is full of blockbusters so that everyone can look on the big screen for the coming weeks.

The widest release of the second week of July will be the “Smurfs” of Paramount Pictures, with Rhianna, Hannah Waddingham, Nick Kroll and Sandra Oh. The film, which is the sixth episode of the “Smurfs” franchise follows the Smurfs while they start a trip to save Papa Smurf after being kidnapped by two evil wizards called Gargamel and Razamel.

The second wide version of this week will be the summer “I know what you did last summer” by Sony Pictures, the fourth episode of the franchise “I know what you did last summer”. The series follows a group of friends after having inadvertently murdered someone, where they promise to cover their involvement. A year after the murder, they begin to be driven one by a mysterious killer with a hook. The film features Chase Suis Wonders, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Freddie Prinze Jr., Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer-King.
