What Linn Grant said after the first big victory of Maja Stark at US Women’s Open

Sweden Maja Stark has become the US Women’s Open champion, capturing the Harton S. Semple trophy and becoming the first European winner of the event since Annika Sörenstam won the title in 2006. His performance obtained compliments from several LPGA pros.

“For my own game, a very solid week. I played a big golf course, surprisingly a lot of birdies but had some drawbacks on the path of the finish line, as you do in the majors 🙃 Always fun to be challenged by the @usga and satisfied with my best finish at @uswomensopen 😌”

Linn Grant carded towers of 71, 69, 73 and 73 and was satisfied with a T9 with Angel Yin and Ariya Jutanugarn.
