What is open and closed on Christmas Day at mass.

Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Christmas Day:
Municipal, state and federal offices will be closed, according to the secretary of state’s office.
Large retail stores and grocery stores will be closed, according to their websites.
Post offices will be closed and only Priority Mail Express will be delivered, according to USPS.
Restaurants, bars and liquor stores will be opened at the discretion of their owners.
Movie theaters will be open.
Convenience stores will be open at the discretion of the owners.
Public schools will be closed.
Libraries will be closed.
Banks will be closed.
The MBTA will work on a Sunday schedule. The commuter train will operate on a weekend schedule. There will be no ferry service. The Ride takes place on Sunday.
Boston parking meters will be free, with no time limit.
The stock market will be closed.
Waste/recycling will not be picked up. Residents can check the City of Boston’s trash and recycling schedule to see how their street’s pickup schedule is affected.
