Cincinnati improved to 3-0 in the Big 12 last week with a 20-11 victory over visiting UCF. The Bearcats took a 17-0 lead in the first half and were never seriously threatened. Brendan Sorsby threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns, connecting twice with Jeff Caldwell on scoring plays. The defense held UCF out of the end zone until the 2:07 mark of the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma State lost 39-17 at home last week to Houston to drop to 0-3 in conference play. Houston lost 29 unanswered points after the Cowboys tied the game 10-10 in the second quarter. A tricky play put Oklahoma State on the board first when wide receiver Shamar Rigby connected with Rodney Fields Jr. on a 63-yard touchdown pass, while backup quarterback Noah Walters threw a score to Gavin Freeman. The Cowboys totaled just 225 yards of offense in the loss.

Oklahoma State has won the last two meetings between the teams, most recently their first meeting as Big 12 foes when the Cowboys earned a 45-13 victory at home in October 2023.
