Cuomo tells “ sight ”, a Mamdani victory would be a “ gift ” for Trump, lead to NYC Takeover

Former governor Andrew Cuomo told “The View” on Monday that it would be a “gift” to President Donald Trump if Zohran Mamdani won the election in November and becomes the next mayor of New York.
Cuomo said he was the “last person” that Trump wanted to see as mayor, citing their relationship when he was a governor of New York. “We fought daily,” said Cuomo.
He allegedly alleged that a Mamdani victory would lead to a New York federal takeover, then would use Mamdani as an example in other elections on the dangers of the election of a far -left politician.

The New York town hall race fell to three candidates after the mayor Eric Adams recently abandoned the race.
After Adams announced that he was abandoning the mayor’s race, Cuomo made him congratulations and said that his withdrawal was shaking the race. He said New Yorkers should be “afraid” of a victory for Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani.
“I believe that the mayor Adams is 100% sincere. I applaud his altruism. You know, we often wonder, is that about us, or is it a greater vocation? And I think that what mayor Adams said today,” said Cuomo. “He said, I will put my personal ambition aside for the good of the city, because he is afraid of the result if Mr. Mamdani would have [sic] Win the elections, and we should all be afraid of the result, “said Cuomo.
And Adams no longer makes a campaign makes a difference, Cuomo said: “It is not only a question of survey. You know, the mayor was – is the outgoing mayor, so he is a powerful force in the countryside; if he does not campaign actively, which changes all the dynamics of the race.”
Even again, Cuomo puts a climb campaign after Mamdani won an upset victory during the June Primary of Democrat. The former governor followed the Democratic candidate in most polls and Mamdani has accumulated major endorsements, notably the governor of New York, Kathy Hochul.

Cuomo apologized in 2021 when the allegations surfaced, but since insisted that he has done nothing wrong, despite an investigation by the attorney general of the alleging state that he had harassed 11 women.
Mamdani and other opponents have argued that Cuomo is still not able to serve power.
The former governor lost the democratic primary after three voting cycles of choice classified by nearly 130,000 votes. Cuomo continued and announced shortly after the defeat he would continue to present himself as an independent candidate.
