“What declaration it would be”

Kamaru Usman recently revealed that he had flashbacks of his infamous defeat against Leon Edwards in his fight against Joaquin Buckley last weekend.
After a skid with three fights, “ The Nigerian Nightmare ” bought himself with a decisive victory over Buckley at the UFC Atlanta on June 14. In a recent interview with MMA Brett Okamoto journalist, Usman described doubt during the fifth round, recalling his KO defeat in Headkick against Edwards at UFC 278. He said:
“There was a moment in my head, where I said to myself,” he launches so hard, you can catch him and knock him down right now. Then I remembered the last time I had this thought, Round, Salt Lake City, Utah, Leon Edwards. He’s not going to get him out. But let’s go and use this feet work.

Kamaru Usman expresses his interest in the potential Dricus of Plessis Fight
With a victory over Joaquin Buckley at UFC Atlanta last weekend, Kamaru Usman is determined to regain his position as a Welter weight poundist. In addition to that, he also looks at a potential superfight against Dricus du Plessis for the average weight belt.
“ Stillknocks ” should lock the horns with Khamzat Chimaev at the UFC 319 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, on August 16. In an interview with TMZ SPORTS, “ The Nigerian Nightmare ” shared his plans for the future, declaring:
“After getting that [welterweight] Belt, hey, they [UFC] I asked and they waited for years and years so that I could go up and get this average weight strap, and why not? I will give up that if Dricus du Plessis is still the champion, the whole African card. Africa against Africa, first card in Africa. The UFC is about to do so. Hey, South Africa against Nigeria. If things start to queue, I think we will see the next 18 months quite interesting. “”
