West Ham launch approach to sign 25 million pounds Sterling + ACE which has ahead of Wilson last season

Despite the interest in Callum Wilson, West Ham United has now launched his first approach to sign a Serie A attacker who has ahead of the former man from Newcastle United last season.
West Ham in talks to sign Wilson
After losing Michail Antonio and Danny Ings earlier this summer, West Ham always needed to turn to the transfer market to attack additions before next season. And although they were patient with their approach, it seems that they finally try to solve the biggest problem of Graham Potter.
After opening talks to sign Wilson, the Hammers hope to welcome the veteran free agent, who does not need to say where the back of the net is. But that does not mean that he will not be questioned if Wilson arrives. As clinical as it is, to score goals, a player must be on the field and it has been the biggest problem of 33 years over the years.

In the past two seasons only, Wilson has missed 57 amazing games through a disease or injury. And at 33, it seems unlikely that these problems suddenly disappear with a move to the London stadium.
The former man from Newcastle is a proven goalscorer of the Premier League, but it must be mentioned that he is also a proven player subject to injuries and that West Ham cannot afford to find out an attacker for the second season.

After the move of Mohammed Kudus in Tottenham, West Ham requires attacker reinforcements, which therefore targets a feeling of 30 million pounds “unpredictable”.
Instead, those of the London Stadium should target a candidate in the context of their career and the one who checks the box for objectives and reliability – something that a series of Serie has certainly.
West Ham launch approach to sign Piccoli
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, West Ham has now launched an approach to sign Roberto Piccoli and wondered in an insistent manner on the sealing of his signature this summer.
The Cagliari striker would be estimated at around 30 million euros (25 million pounds sterling), which would force West Ham to bed the money to welcome Italian. But it is probably worth every penny of these costs, because the Hammers finally seek a solution to their attacker problem.

Compared, once again, it is the lack of availability of Wilson that can be highlighted. Managing only 370 minutes last season – about four games – the attacker only scored one goal. Piccoli, meanwhile, found the back of the net 10 times in Serie A after playing 3,127 minutes.
The only concern for West Ham should be that the 24-year-old has underperformed his expected total, which was held at 12 goals, but that could improve with new experience.
On paper, even for 26 million pounds sterling, Piccoli stands out as the option that West Ham should prioritize instead of Wilson this summer.
