“Welp Cooper Flagg will not elaborate”

NBA fans reacted to Dallas Mavericks signature trainer Jason Kidd to a multi-year extension. Kidd, who was mid-extension eligible, in 2024, the same year he took the team to the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.
However, the decision by the Mavericks front office has fans divided in the comments. Reacting to the news, one fan was skeptical about Cooper Flagg’s growth under Kidd.

“Welp Cooper Flagg will not expand.”
Another fan was also unhappy with the extension.
“Dallas come on now, I love jkidd but come on.”
One of the fans said that getting Cooper Flagg was one of the main reasons Kidd signed the extension.
“They got Cooper Flagg and it was like you had me for life.”
Meanwhile, one of the fans said that the Mavs are serious about winning the title in the near future.
“I guess they’re not joking.”
“Jason Kidd is very deserving of this extension. His players love him, his teams play hard for him and he has had enough good results to warrant a new contract.”
Additionally, for another fan, with Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis and Flagg on the roster, Jason Kidd’s future with the Mavericks was assured.
“Kidd signed for several years after Luka carried the team, it’s absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to see how Kyrie, AD and Flagg take him to another extension.”
However, for one fan, the Mavericks were going to regret this decision in the future.
“Won’t age well.”

According to Marc Stein, in the past, Jason Kidd received coaching offers from the LA Lakers and New York Knicks. The details of his extension are not yet known, but it should give Kidd the opportunity to develop a championship-caliber team over the next 2-3 seasons.
Kidd will begin his fifth year of coaching with the Mavericks. So far, he has a 179-149 record with the team. He took Dallas to the NBA Finals and Conference Finals. Kidd also won a title with Dallas in 2011, defeating LeBron James and the Miami Heat in the Finals.
