Is Dalton Schultz playing week 17?

Schultz is not listed on the injury report and, barring any surprises, he is expected to play.

We will continue to monitor the Texans injury report before kickoff for any changes. You can also visit and bookmark our Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should you start or sit Schultz in Week 17?

Dalton Schultz is the benchmark for how most people like to draft the TE position and he is still underrated.

He’s scored a touchdown in back-to-back games and has at least 11 PPR points in six of his last eight. Schultz is unlikely to put up a big number that doubles your opponent’s production and leads you to victory, and it would be painful if he played any other position.

But he doesn’t do it. He’s a tight end, and you have no right to complain about consistently viable numbers at the position.

His value for 2026 could be an issue if these rookie receivers develop into real options alongside Nico Collins, but it won’t happen overnight and that’s why Schultz is in my top 10 again this weekend.
