After declaring that he was moving away from political spotlights, Elon Musk returned to it.

While the Senate debated the “big and beautiful bill” of President Donald Trump on Monday before a final vote, Musk issued a warning warning via his social media platform X.

“Each member of the congress who campaigned to reduce public spending, then immediately voted for the greatest increase in the debt in history should suspend their heads! And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this land,” he wrote.

A few hours later, he went further, declaring X If the “insane expenditure bill adopts, the America party will be formed the next day”.

“Our country needs an alternative to the UNIPARTY democrat-republican so that people really have a voice,” he wrote.

For weeks, Musk has made its way against Trump’s political bill, leading to a very public and ugly fight with Trump earlier this month. In a burst of x messages several weeks ago, Musk had offered to start a new political party.

This proposal resurfaced on Monday, when Musk said: “It is obvious with the crazy expenses of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record of five dollars of dollars that we live in a single party country – the Porky Pork party !! The time for a new political party that really cares about the people.”

Musk’s resolution to support the candidates who plan to launch primary campaigns against the members of the Congress is one of the most concrete political threats of Musk since I left his post as an advisor to the White House. Musk spent more than 275 million dollars to support Trump and other Republican candidates in the 2024 elections. At the end of May, he said in an interview that he planned to reduce political spending, saying that he had “done enough”.

According to the deposits of the Federal Electoral Commission, the Musk’s political action committee, America PAC, gave money for the last time in March to support two republican candidates who present themselves to special elections in Florida – Randy Fine and Jimmy Patronis.

Musk argued that the republican policy bill would increase debt, appealing it “the slavery of debt”.

The Senate bill would add nearly 3.3 dollars to the deficit in the next decade, according to an estimate of the congress budget on Sunday. Senate legislation costs more than the bill approved by the Chamber, which would add 2.4 billions of dollars to the deficit in the next decade.

The Senate package contains deeper tax reductions,, Fewer discounts of expenditure and provisions that would increase income. The White House argued that the bill “reduces deficits” and debt, while “unleashing economic growth”.

The Trump Administration and some Republicans of the Senate choose not to include the cost of extending Trump 2017 Trump tax reductions in their calculations of the impact of the Federal Deficit Bill.

Although Musk said that the loss of electric vehicles and subsidies and credits on solar energy in the bill is not the reason why he opposes legislation, he complained of the bill “gives documents to the past industries while seriously naming the industries of the future”.

Tami Luhby of CNN contributed the reports.
