New Jersey faces a possible recovery of the warm and rainy weather conditions yesterday – with new threats of serious thunderstorms, hot temperatures and uncomfortable humidity for pressure for Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening.

Added to the mixture is another potential threat: isolated tornadoes.

It is the word of the National Weather Service and the Storm Prediction Center, which say a high instability and a wind shear in the atmosphere could ensure that certain storm cells spawn clouds of funnel today.

These opinions are active until 8 p.m. Thursday, because the heat index – how hot it feels when the humidity is combined with air temperature – can reach 98 to 99 degrees.

In the Philadelphia metro region, it could feel as hot as 100 degrees this afternoon.
