Watch Sabrina Carpenter perform “tears” at the VMA MTV 2025

Sabrina Carpenter used her first performance of her song “Tears” during the MTV Video Music Awards 2025 to defend the rights of transgender on Sunday evening.
Optimistic performance took place in an outdoor set that looked like the 90s New York streets. It was joined by Drag Queens Honey Balenciaga, Symone, Dashaun Wesley, Richie Shazam, Jewels Sparkles, Lexi Love, Jonte ‘GĂ©aning and Denali as she was inspired by the song, which presents Colman Domingo streak. In addition, she was joined by dancers in retro outfits and male dancers in police uniforms.
While Carpenter and the performers danced on stage, many drag queens went back and forth with signs of picking that favored trans rights. “Protecting trans rights,” said a sign, while another said “in Trans trusting us”.
Carpenter started performance by wearing a brilliant dress with details of fringes, although she removed the layer to reveal a sparkling bra and black tights while she and the artists made the “dance break” game. The rain then started to fall on stage as a carpenter and the artists made a choreographed dance.
Not only carpenter attended the event as an artist, but she was also nominated for nine prices. She was in place for the best pop artist, as well as the album of the year for Mild. In addition, Carpenter’s lead single Man’s best friend The album, “Manchild”, was nominated for the video of the year, the best pop, the best direction, the best cinematography, the best editing, the best visual effects and the song of the summer.
Carpenter is not unrelated to the VMA because she previously played at the price of the price during the 2024 event. At the time, Carpenter sang a mixture of her successes “please”, “Taste” and “Espresso”. She also won her first VMA during the 2024 prize program in the Song of the Year category for “Espresso”.
The VMA 2025 takes place at the UBS Arena in New York, while LL Cool J is the host of the event.
