“A monument cannot buy all my mistakes … if I could only see it again …” ✨ It is a must look Animation short film – Only 11 minutes. Slow light is an animated short film in 2D stop-motion created by two Polish filmmakers known by the name Kijek / Adamski. After being thrown into more than a hundred festivals, Slow light is now available online so everyone can watch. Slow light tells the story of a man who can only see the past because it takes seven years in light to travel through his eye globes (because they are so dense). An intelligent riff of the way in which light moves from distant stars. “To transmit this story, we have used two animation techniques: the past is animated in traditional 2D, while the present takes the form of a tactile relief, turned into a stop moving. We have turned all the elements and combined them with 2D animation to unify changing scenarios.” It is a beautiful and particularly distinct creation, a parable on life and how we have to stop living in the past. This story also recalls The curious case of Benjamin ButtonWhat I have always found deeply moving. See below.
