Watch: how the controversies on vaccine changes affect you

Céline Gounder, KFF Health News editor -in -chief for public health, appeared on “Face The Nation with Margaret Brennan” from CBS News on August 31 to discuss the leadership changes in the centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Vaccine Policy. Gounder noted that the departures of senior officials and confusion on how to obtain vaccines affect the public health of Americans. She stressed that Americans may want to be vaccinated and staying healthy to avoid having to miss work or school.
She recently explored these questions in her article “senior CDC officials resigned after the ouster of Monarez, citing concerns about scientific independence”.
