Washington Post Report accused of having children’s abuse after DC home search

Washington (7news) – A Washington Post journalist faces allegations of possession of sexual abuse equipment after federal officials said they had found equipment on his work laptop, according to the office of the American prosecutor.
Thomas Legro, a 48 -year -old journalist whose roles with the newspaper dates back to 2013, was arrested Thursday at his DC home and presented himself to a federal judge on Friday. A spokesperson for the post confirmed that they were aware of allegations and placed him on leave.

The officials said that Legro had a file on his work computer with 11 videos representing abuse equipment. Officials said that a fractured hard drive had been found in a corridor near where the laptop had been found.
