Warriors sign Seth Curry for remainder of season

The Golden State Warriors united the Curry brothers as originally planned by signing veteran guard Seth Curry to a contract on Monday for the remainder of the season.
Seth Curry joined the Warriors in training camp, but was waived just before the season due to the team’s financial constraints.
The Warriors are limited to the second apron, meaning they could only keep 14 players at the start of the season to create enough prorated breathing room to add Seth Curry at the vacant 15th slot.
There will be an expectation for Seth and Stephen Curry to play alongside each other. Steph, who leads the Warriors 11-10 in scoring (27.9 points per game), is sidelined with left quad strain. He should be re-evaluated next week.
Seth Curry, entering his 12th NBA season, began his career in the franchise’s G League program in Santa Cruz, but then deliberately ventured elsewhere — on 10 NBA teams — to chart his own professional path outside of his brother’s shadow, he said.
This was accompanied by many filming successes. The younger Curry brother has made 945 career 3s at a rate of 43.3%, the seventh-highest percentage in league history. He shot an NBA record 45.6 percent from 3-point range last season.
Seth Curry decided last summer that the time had finally come to join Stephen, who had long hoped to play with his brother on the NBA stage.
In the corresponding move, Golden State waived forward Jackson Rowe, who signed a two-way contract in late January.
