Hold on the Palmes page during the 78th Cannes Film Festival, the circle of investors once again summoned financiers of high -level films and equity investors for an exclusive presentation of ten new projects focused on the authors. The event only at the invitation included presentations of several internationally recognized directors, notably Jessica Hausner, Sebastián Lelio, Lukas Dhont and Jasmila žbanić.
Designed to connect daring creative visions with long -term donors, the event included projects with budgets ranging from 3 million euros to more than 9 million euros ($ 3.3 million – 10 million dollars). Each team was supported in its investor preparations by 111 lawyers, a law firm based in Paris specializing in entertainment. This year’s selection was supervised by Aleksandra Zakharchenko, industry manager in the film market, alongside a jury which included Remi Burah (Arte France Cinema), Serge Hayat, Tamara Tatishvili (Hubert Bals Fund) and Marcin łuczaj (New Europe Film Sales).
