Walton Goggins has an answer to Pete Davidson after the latter predicted fans “turn” on the White lotus actor.
Last week, The Hollywood Reporter published a story on Davidson’s comments, which were made on Theo von Last weekend podcast. Both spoke of how some people experienced a rapid increase in glory, only to see a change in the perception of fans.
An example that Davidson gave was Pedro Pascal. “Look at Pedro Pascal right now. Damn two years ago, he is a large working player … He worked so hard and was an actor in difficulty, [then] Fucking explodes so hard, everyone is like, “Dad, dad!” Yeah, dad, dad, “he said.” And then a year later, it is, as, in everything now, because it is hot and large and everyone says: “Go fuck, guy.” “”
Davidson then estimated that “you have to give someone time to adapt to this new level of renown. He has been knocking there for 30 years, and now he learns to go take a cup of coffee or treat with someone who hits you on the shoulder while you have your holes and you have to scare yourself.
The first Saturday Night Live Star then mentioned the goggins as the next actor who could bear the same type of treatment as Pascal.
