Several major food reminders of products sold at Walmart were published in August, federal officials warning people not to consume the items sold in certain stores in half of the country.
The affected products include salads, ice cream and potentially radioactive shrimp.
Why it matters
Uncorporated allergens and potential radioactive contamination pose different but serious public health problems. Allergens such as sesame, soy, almond, nuts and pacans can trigger anaphylaxis in sensitive people, and repeated exposure to low levels of cesium-37 can increase the risk of cancer.

Balsamic salad kit with honey taylor farms
On August 26, Taylor Fresh Foods announced a voluntary recall of the Balsamic Honey Salad Taylor 6 / 8.3 Oz because some kits contained a ginger vinaigrette in Asian sesame instead of the expected balsamic vinegrettes, introducing allergens of sesame and unteaded soy.

Consumers were invited to return the product for a full refund.

Radioactive shrimp warning
