Volleyball ends the sweeping of the Old Dominion series

Chanticles have improved at 11-4 in total and 4-0 in the solar belt, while the monarchs fell to 3-12 and 0-4 at a conference.
CCU Junior JALYN Stout recorded his 42nd triple-double in career with 13 striking attacks, 14 assists and 10 excavations. Ava Wallis Crazy fell shy from a double-double while distributing 17 assists. Bailee Earnhardt collected a team record of 12 excavations, and Anna Rita displayed five blocks.
Bryanna Jones led the ODU with 11 striking attacks, Kyra Hampton distributed 23 assists, and Adrienne Peji recorded 13 excavations.
Quick set synopsis
• Define one: The Chanticleers put an end to the opening frame on a 5-0 race, forcing three errors from the striker while Wallis had an ace and a Stout killed. Stout achieved six striking attacks out of 12 attempts in the set, and Wallis collected six assists.
• Define two: The ODU served for the match leading 24-22, but Stout stored the Wallis and Earnhardt set came to the monarchs to equalize the Set at 24-All. Jones gave the monarchs in the lead 25-24, but Fowler’s attack equaled the match, and the Stout service AS put CCU in front. Emma Van Elslande Then finished the frame with a Kill off stout set.
• Set three: Coastal scored the first four points in the final framework and built a seven points advance, 9-2. The song advance decreased to one, 17-16, but they scored five consecutive points to repel it to six, 22-16, and maintained a four-point victory.
Notes and statistics
• Coastal Carolina improved at 5-3 of all time against Old Dominion with a file of 4-0 at HTC Center.
• The Chanticles have won three of their first four conference games Sun Belt in straight sets.
• Stout has recorded three service AS for the second time this season. She also had three against the FIU.
• Wallis recorded his 500th career aid as a member of the Chanticles (509). Including her first -year season, she has 585 career aids.
• Anna Rita posted his 10th game of the season with at least five blocks in total. She had a solo block and four assists against Odu.
The next
Coastal Carolina goes to Atlanta this week for two games against the state of Georgia by Sun Belt Foe on Thursday and Friday October 10-11. The two games are scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN +.
