Warwick, RI (Wjar) – The anchor NBC 10 Sunrise Mario Hilario was inducted in Rhode Island Radio and Television Hall of Fame Thursday evening.
Hilario has been with NBC 10 for almost 30 years.
He joined other members of NBC 10, including Patrice Wood, Gene Valicenti and Frank Carpano.
It was the long -standing anchor of NBC 10 weekend Sunrise before joining the Sunrise team during the week.
In a secret segment kept from most of the sunrise personnel, Gene Valicenti announced that Hilario would be inducted into the fame of fame in February.
Her reaction was captured live when she went from confusion to a big smile.
