Virat Kohli undergoes a “New Normal” Fitness Fitness Test for BCCI and Indian cricket players?

August 31 was the date on which almost all players under centralized contract underwent fitness tests in Bengaluru.

Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma recently undergone the compulsory assessment of pre-season physical condition at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. However, the biggest name in Indian cricket, Virat Kohli, was not present. Having moved his base, it was reported that Kohli had undergone the fitness test in London.

Neither the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) nor Kohli confirmed the issue. According to the directives, each contractual player must erase the fitness test. But it is not certain to know if the players should be present at the CEO for this. So far, each individual has done so in Bengaluru.

Kohli’s fitness test to change Indian cricket?

Kohli could be the first. And if it is true, according to the former opener of India, Aakash Chopra, it could change the situation.

“At this stage, it’s just hearsay. Aakash said Crex.

Kohli’s simple act of undergoing the fitness test in London could change the landscape. We know that the former captain of India has already pushed the limits. Whether it’s making the “Yo-Yo” test compulsory for the selection or starting of a quick revolution, Kohli was there when the first domino fell.

Aakash thinks that Kohli’s decision could mean that in the future, players would be authorized to undergo fitness tests from anywhere in the world and would not have to present themselves to the CEO or the BCCI. This decision could make life easier for Indian cricket players under centralized contract.

“But even if he did it, how does it matter? Honestly, it defines the previous one. In the future, anyone can undergo a fitness test at any place. If this happens once, then you draw a line in the sand and say that it is the new rule. It will not be necessary for everyone to go to Bengaluru. If it is true, then it is a new normal,” He added.
