Virat Kohli publishes the 1st official declaration on the case of the RCB assessment 3 months after the accident

RCB shared Virat Kohli’s reaction to tragedy via the social media platform X. The former RCB captain paid tribute to the fans who lost their lives or were injured in the jostling. He also expressed sorrow of what should have been a historical celebration.

I thought and prayed for the families of those we lost … and for our fans who were injured. Your loss is part of our history now. Together, we are going to move forward with care, respect and responsibility. ”

The jostling occurred outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium when a crowd would have exceeded two Lakh of Lakh overwhelmed the stadium, which has a capacity of only 32,000. Overcrowding resulted in 11 deaths, every 40 years, and was at least 50 other injured.

In response, the chief minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, announced a remuneration of RS 10 Lakh for the families of the deceased, and RCB promised an amount equal to each of the 11 families as a gesture of respect and solidarity.
