Vince McMahon rejected the land of the former WWE champion after calling it “interesting”

Former WWE president Vince McMahon once rejected the big field of a veteran for a return to the ring. JBL recently revealed an idea he had presented to McMahon after his retirement from 2009.
In Wrestlemania 25 in 2009, Rey Mysterio crushed JBL to win the intercontinental title. The self -proclaimed god of struggle then announced that he had finished fighting, to a massive pop of the fans present.
On a recent edition of Something to fight, JBL revealed that he had once presented an idea for his return to Vince McMahon. The former WWE president seemed to be intrigued but finally rejected the field.
Here is what I said:
“There was a time with Heath Slater, we did the JBL and Cole show, and he was my nephew Clem,” said JBL. “I wanted to make a place where I came back and label the team with Heath … I spoke to Vince. He thought it really hard, and he almost did it. I hoped he would do it. The first thing he said is `interesting ” and I could say that he did not shoot him, but he ended up, he ended up killing him.” [H/T WrestlingNews.Co]
Vince McMahon trusted JBL with a massive responsibility in 2004-2005
After WrestleMania XX in 2004, the Smackdown brand needed a big heel after the release of Brock Lesnar WWE. Vince McMahon decided to give Bradshaw an opportunity and transformed it into JBL. He then defeated Eddie Guerrero for the WWE title at the Great American Bash 2004.
Over the next 10 months, JBL has managed to keep the first price on his shoulders. His long reign as a superior champion finally ended Wrestlemania 21 in Hollywood, when John Cena pinned him to win his first WWE championship.
