The agreement for Viktor Gykerres at Arsenal has not collapsed, despite reports in Portugal in recent days.
Arsenal remains in conversations with Sporting for the attacker and the agreement is absolutely underway. There is still a small gap in the evaluation, always a gap between the two clubs, so it is a work in progress between Arsenal and Sporting to achieve an agreement.
What is important to say is that Viktor Gyokerres will no longer show up for training for sport. The player’s intention is very clear – it is valid for today, tomorrow and any other day at this stage of the summer transfer window.

Gyokerres only wants to go to Arsenal. He believes that his story with Sporting is over, he wants to leave the club to try something different.
Thus, the agreement between Gyokerres and Arsenal remains valid – a five -year contract until 2030. It is also important to be clear that it is more than himself the priority for the Gunners – he only wants to play for Mikel Arteta.
Gyokerres no longer wants to introduce himself for sport, and he does not entertain discussions with another club in recent days. So, he is concentrated on Arsenal for Viktor Gyokerres, just waiting for the two clubs to reach a final agreement and that Gyokerres becomes the new Arteta striker and the Arsenal project.
