West Virginia school systems announce delays and closures for Tuesday, December 9

WEST VIRGINIA (WCHS) — The start of the school week was marked by consistent snowfall, prompting education officials to announce several delays and closures of West Virginia county school systems.
The following counties have announced they will be closed on Tuesday, December 9.

- Cloth
- Roan
The following counties have announced delays for Tuesday.

- Calhoun

- Green Brier
- Jackson
- Louis
- Lincoln
- Mason
- McDowell
- Mercer
- Mingo
- Monroe
- Nicholas
- Pendleton
- Pocahontas
- Putnam
- Raleigh
- Are
- Upshur
- Wayne
- Webster
Logan County has decided to close some schools and delay others. Man’s primary and secondary school will be closed due to heating problems. All other Logan County schools will operate on a two-hour delay.
