Video: Song Yadong destroys Sean O’Malley over COVID mask – ‘The only part of his career where people loved him’

Song Yadong is not happy that Sean O’Malley wore a COVID mask during their recent staredown and he just hit the former UFC bantamweight champion with one of the worst low blows.

On Friday, some fighters joined on stage to UFC 2026 Seasonal Press Conference. This featured O’Malley and Yadong, who will meet on The UFC 324 main card January 24 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be one of the biggest games of the first quarter in the UFC’s crowded bantamweight division.

There’s really no history between O’Malley and Yadong, but things got a little personal during their press conference. That’s because O’Malley decided to wear a COVID mask during his showdown with Yadong, who is a Chinese fighter. It was an obvious shot at Yadong, but not a really smart one at that.
