Vidarbha Crush Rest of India by 93 races in Irani Cup; Rajat Patidar’s dream captain sequence has broken

The title champions of Ranji Trophy, Vidarbha, won their third title of the Iranian Cup by defeating the rest of India on the last day (Sunday October 5) at the Stadium of the Vidarbha Cricket Association in Nagpur. The team led by Akshay Wadkar raised the trophy in front of his home crowd for the first time since 2019.
On the last day, the rest of India needed 331 points while Vidarbha needed eight counters to ensure the victory. Yash Dhull added 92 points and shared a 104 -point partnership with Manav Suthar who briefly disputed Vidarbha, but Yash Thakur put an end to the stand by rejecting Dhull, who had to return to the locker room.

Earlier, Vidarbha posted a total of first total of 342 after contributions from Atharva Taide (143) and Yash Rathod (91). The rest of India was overthrown for 214, Yash Thakur and Ashhul Kamboj taking four counters each.
Vidarbha managed to score 232 points in the second round. During the prosecution, Harsh Dubey played with a transport with four gates, while Thakur put two counters.

Gaikwad fought against the Bowling of Darshan Nalkande and was dismissed after preceding the sheets. Kishan fell to floating delivery by Harsh Dubey, hitting him directly at Parth Rekhade. The rest of India had lost four crucial counters during the opening session while Vidarbha took control of the game.

After early collapse, Yash Dhull added partnerships with Saransh Jain and Manav Suthar to anchor the sleeves. Dhull has shown the ability to effectively rotate the shot. The stand between Dhull and Saransh reduced the target to less than 150 races, briefly putting pressure on Vidarbha.
Vidarbha resumed domination after Yash Thakur produced a rotating spell. He took two counters in consecutive deliveries and rejected Dhull on the border line. Thakur was involved in an altercation on the ground with Dhull before uprooting the stumps of ASHUL KAMBOJ with a Yorker.
The home team won the two remaining counters to win a 93 -point victory. They won the Irani Cup for the first time since 2019, Captain Akshay Wadkar leading the celebrations.
