Taking to his Instagram Stories in the early hours of Friday morning, the new dad applauded the director for his vision and execution of this “mammoth task.” Sharing a poster of the film, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, Vicky wrote: “@Adityadharfilms, beauty! What a mammoth task it must be for you and your team to make this film with such conviction, finesse and top-notch world-building… Hats off to you!”The actor didn’t stop there. ‘Dhurandhar’ has been dominating the box office since its release on December 5. The film defied all box office predictions to score an impressive Rs 207 crore in first week revenue. Meanwhile, the films’ international box office collections have crossed the Rs 50 crore mark, taking the film’s overall global box office collections to an estimated Rs 306 crore.

Vicky’s message comes amid a growing chorus of celebrities applauding the film’s performance at the box office. Hrithik Roshan praised Dhar’s spy thriller, saying, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them, shake them until what they want to say is purged from them on that screen. ‘Dhurandhar’ is an example of that. I loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.”Akshay Kumar was also supportive, describing the film as a “gripping story.” Akshay also expressed his appreciation to Aditya, in a post that read, “#I watched Dhurandhar and I’m blown away.
