“Very unhappy in our situation” – under Fraser Olender de Deck’s Fraser opens on the long distance break and damo kiss

Under the bridge Season 12 continues to follow the personal and professional trips of the crew on board the St. David yacht. One of the central scenarios in recent episodes was the long distance relationship to Fraser Olender and the events that led to its end.

During episode 4, Fraser spoke of his frustration of not being able to spend time with his partner, saying that he had only seen him five times that year. In episode 5, Fraser confirmed his rupture to Stew Barbara Kulaif,

“Just so that you know, my boyfriend and I broke. Because we don’t see each other,” he shared.

In an interview on June 30 with The Daily Dish, Fraser developed what he felt at the time.

“Do I really have a boyfriend? Yes. But see him five times a year? I don’t know if that classifies it as something that goes particularly well. I quickly realized that I am very unhappy in our situation,” he shared.

Fraser also talked about the kiss with Damo Yorg which took place in episode 4 and how he influenced his decision.

The Fraser relationship has been under pressure since the start of the season. In episode 4 of Under the bridgeHe described the arrangement of “pen with pen” and admitted that their schedules were “incompatible”. The limited time they spent together has raised doubts about whether the relationship was still working.

In episode 5, after having gone to the ground to speak with his boyfriend, Fraser returned with clarity and informed Barbara that they had broken. He then explained the reason for the break in a confessional,

“The long distance is super difficult. It is never something in which I wanted to be. And that’s it, it does not work. It had to be done,” he said.

Fraser added that going out with someone means wanting to spend time with him, which did not happen in his case. “It’s not the right time for us,” he said. In his interview with the Daily Dish, Fraser provided more context on the disconnection he felt. He also told Stew Rainbeau de Roos that he did not equip the possibility of reconnecting in the future.

“If we are never back in the same place, at the same time, no longer doing what we do, it could absolutely work,” said Fraser.


Fraser tackles his kiss with Damo and regrets possible Under the bridge

The decision to Fraser to put an end to his relationship came shortly after sharing a kiss with the Damo Yorg bridge in the upheaval bath during episode 4 of Under the bridge. The kiss, which was shown as the “first kiss of the season”, had Fraser reassess where things were stood with his boyfriend.

Speaking in a confessional, Fraser said that the kiss had raised questions because he and his boyfriend had discussed borders concerning physical affection with others.

“Do I think I cheated? Absolutely not,” said Fraser.

Fraser added that if his boyfriend kissed a male friend, that wouldn’t bother him, but that would be different if it was another gay man. “It wouldn’t be cool,” he said. In his Daily dish Interview, Fraser said that the time with Damo was not serious and has not changed his global approach to relationships.

“Everything is super fun, free, and jovial, and joking. Nothing is serious,” he said.

Fraser added that the crew tends to detach and have fun, and these moments are not taken personally by anyone who is involved. As for knowing if there will be more romantic developments this season, she said that he had no beggars or serious intentions to continue anyone during the season.
