Advantages of healing aloe vera juice on ulcers

The use of aloe vera for ulcer relief is not recommended, for gastro-duodenal ulcers or oral ulcers. There is little evidence that the method works, and there are many effective treatments for both types of ulcers.
The ingestion of aloe vera for relief of the ulcer could cause a laxative effect and abdominal cramps if you accidentally consume the latex part of the plant. Take antacids for relief of fast ulcer pain and talk to your doctor other treatment options.
What are peptic ulcers?
Peptic ulcers are open wounds in your digestive system. Gastric ulcers are formed in the mucosa of your stomach, and duodenal ulcers occur in your duodenum (the first part of your small intestine). Symptoms of gastric ulcers include combustion of stomach pain, nausea, stomach burns, intolerance to fatty foods and unfortunately full or swollen sensation.
There are two potential common causes for peptic ulcers. One is the overuse of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and aspirin. The second is an infection caused by the bacteria of H. pylori.
According to the Mayo Clinic, H. pylori bacteria are commonly found in a layer of mucus in the stomach and small intestines and often do not cause symptoms. However, in some cases, bacteria can damage mucus, allowing gastric acid to irritate the mucosa of the stomach or duodenum. This irritation can cause ulcers.
NSAIDs generally prevent inflammation, pain and fever. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and digestive and renal diseases, NSAIDs work by blocking certain enzymes associated with inflammation, pain and fever. However, the blocked enzyme is also involved in the protection of the mucosa of the stomach of gastric acid. Thus, blocking this enzyme by using NSAIDs makes you more likely that you will develop a peptic ulcer.

What are the ulcers of the mouth?
Mouth ulcers, also known as Canker, occur inside your cheeks and lips. Harvard Health says there is no clear cause of Canker. They can occur if you accidentally bite the interior of your mouth or if hugs or dental prostheses irritate the lining of your mouth. Other possible causes include stress, gluten intolerance and vitamin B12 deficiency.
Canker wounds generally heal themselves within 10 to 14 days, and there are over-the-counter treatments that can speed up the healing process. Mount Sinai Health recommends you to rinse your mouth with salt water or use a cotton swab to buffer a mixture of hydrogen half-sproxide and half-water on the wound.
Look for medical help if you have an ulcer of the mouth which lasts more than two weeks or which seems to worsen over time. Mount Sinai also recommends speaking with your doctor if you have canker wounds more than two to three times a year, or if you have other symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, rashes or headache with an ulcer from the mouth.

Gadin ulcer treatment
The best treatment for a peptic ulcer depends on what causes ulcer. If your ulcer has been caused by an overuse of NSAIDs, your doctor will likely recommend that you cut or stop using NSAIDs entirely – even if NSAIDs would be your favorite analgesic for rapid relief of ulcer pain. Medicines that can help treat peptic ulcers include:
- Drugs that block or reduce the amount of gastric acid that your body produces, which gives ulcers the possibility of healing. Proton pump inhibitors (PPI) such as omeprazole (Prilosec), esomeprazole (Nexium) and Lansoprazole (prevacid) inhibit the secretion of gastric acid.
- Acid blockers, also called H2 blockers, prevent an inflammatory agent called histamine from stimulating the production of gastric acid. The common H2 blockers include ranitidine (Zantac), Famotidine (Pepcid), Nizatidine (axide) and Cimetidine (Tagamet).
- Antacids can provide rapid action relief by reducing excess gastric acid and can be a good choice for rapid relief of ulcer pain. Antacids like tums and pepto-bismol are widely available over the counter.
- Antibiotics can help treat an H. pylori infection. Common options include amoxicillin, clarithromycin and tetracycline. Your doctor will decide which antibiotics are the best choice for you. If you are prescribed by antibiotics, it is crucial that you end the entire course of medication. In addition, check with your doctor to see if the supplements you take could interact with antibiotics.
Aloe vera for ulcers
There are anecdotal relationships of people using aloe vera for the treatment of ulcer, but this method has not been scientifically tested. In fact, Aloe Vera taking for ulcers can even exacerbate stomach problems caused by a gastro-duodal ulcer.
The latex component of aloe vera has laxative properties, caused by a compound called alloin. According to the national toxicology program, there is very little information available on the combination of drinks and supplements of aloe vera consumption. And if you prepare the aloe vera gel for consumption, properly non-brinking the latex of the gel can cause consumption of alloin.
The application of aloe vera on mouth ulcers can also make you accidentally ingest for aloe vera latex, leading to gastrointestinal distress. Instead, try to use over -the -counter remedies of mouth ulcers or ask your doctor what he recommends.
Recommended supply for ulcer relief
Instead of taking aloe vera for ulcers, you can make a number of changes to your diet. A useful food for the relief of the ulcer: fruits and vegetables rich in polyphenol. According to a review of literature published in the Global Gastroenterology Journal In June 2015, polyphenols compounds that naturally occur in fresh products can help prevent or treat peptic ulcers.
The paper indicates that good sources of polyphenols include apples, grapes, green tea, cumin and grenades. The authors noted that a diet rich in polyphenols has almost no side effects, unlike medicinal treatments for peptic ulcers which can cause gastrointestinal problems such as nausea and bloating.
In addition, a diet rich in fruits and vegetables has other health benefits. This can reduce your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, kidney stones and certain types of cancer.
You can also try probiotic foods for relief of the ulcer. The Mayo clinic recommends miso, sauerkraut and yogurt. Other foods rich in probiotics include kombucha, kimchi and kefir. Kefir, a fermented yogurt drink, has anti-inflammatory properties.
