Updating the Framework laptop brings NVIDIA GeForce to the Modular Play Mobile

It was a year in charge for the framework, the company behind the now well established series of repairable, modular modular laptops (and a paradoxically less model). The company has launched a version of the laptop Framework 13 with Ryzen AI Processors, the new laptop Framework 12 and the desk aforementioned in the last six months, and last week, Framework has teased that it always had “something big to come”.
This “something big” turns out to be the very first update of the laptop Framework 16, the kids’ fertilizer of the framework framework. Framework updates the laptop with Ryzen AI processors and new integrated GPU Radeon GPUs and introduces a new graphic module with the mobile version of NVIDIA RTX 5070 – the one that is also entirely compatible with the original 16 original, for Upradeans.
Pre -orders from the new laptop opened today, and the price starts at $ 1,499 for a DIY edition without RAM, storage, operating system or expansion cards, an increase of $ 100 compared to the price of the laptop of the first frame 16. The first units will start shipping in November.
Although Framework has launched several updates for his original laptop 13, this is the first time that he has updated the equipment of one of his other computers. We would not expect the laptop Framework which has just been launched 12 or the Framework office obtaining an internal overhaul of so early, but the laptop 16 will push 2 years when this upgrade is launched.
The old CPU version Ryzen 7 7840HS of the laptop 16 will always be available in the future at a slightly reduced starting price of $ 1,299 (for DIY edition, before RAM and Storage). The Ryzen 9 7940HS model will remain until it sends, how the frame says it disappears.

This RTX 5070 graphic module includes a redesigned dissipation and fan system, plus an additional USB-C port which supports the display output and the supply entry (potentially releasing one of your extension card locations for something else). Due to the GPU additional power draw and other new components, Framework goes to a default 240 W power supply for the new Framework 16 laptop, up the previous 180 W power brick.
