Arne Slot provided an update of the Liverpool team before the pre-season friendly match for Athletic Club in Anfield.
Conor Bradley and Virgil Van Dijk were excluded from these matches due to a minor injury and illness respectively, while Alisson Becker and Joe Gomez remain unavailable after leaving the Reds pre-season tour in Asia.
Slot told Liverpoolfc.com: “Almost all of them are in good shape or have remained in good shape.
“Unfortunately, Virgil is sick today. We miss Alisson. Joe Gomez is not there, Conor Bradley is not there.
“But so far, we have stayed in shape as we wanted and the new signatures have come, so they have adjusted to what we want. Above all, then in the following weeks.”
The location was also asked if one of this quartet may be sidelined for the Shield Community Shield against Crystal Palace or the opening of the Premier League at Home of AFC Bournemouth.
“Virgil normally no,” replied the head coach. “Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley, it will be tight. Alisson will also be back in time.”
