With the final whistle, the Ligue 1 giants were disappointed. However, a worse situation took place the day after the game involving PSG head coach, Luis Enrique, and Joao Pedro de Chelsea.
PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma seemed to be involved in an argument with Pedro, during which Enrique interfered to support his player. The situation worsened after the Spanish manager was seen growing the Brazilian forward and raising his arm towards the 23 -year -old face.
More people, including players and staff of the two clubs, have been involved to prevent the situation from aggravating more.

FIFA would have informed in any procedure, rejecting the case without official response of PSG or Enrique, which previously expressed its regret for its explosion. While a potential suspension of two games for “anti -owned driving” and a financial sanction were expected, the director no longer pursues the case in the midst of other priorities.
FIFA’s decision has raised the eyebrows because of their contradictory decision in another similar incident, where Joao Neves from PSG received a two -game ban for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair in the same final.

What is the next step for Paris Saint-Germain and Luis Enrique?
Without reported punishment, PSG and Enrique would both be relieved, because they would not have to worry about the presence of their manager on the sidelines, while having no concerns concerning a disciplinary battle.
After having had great success during the previous season, PSG began the 2025/26 campaign with consecutive victories in their first two Ligue 1 games after raising the Super Cup from UEFA by beating Tottenham in the final.
Parisians are expected to face Toulouse in their next match in the elite at the Toulouse stadium on August 30.
