As always, we, at Lwot, will offer our predictions for each match on the slate, notably Mirra Andreeva vs Anastasia Potapova, Aryna Sabalenka vs Polina Kudermetova and Jasmine Paolini vs Iva Jovic. But who will reserve their place in the third round?
Predictions of the United States Open Day 4
Jessica Pegula vs Anna Blinkova
Jordan: The indifferent form of Jessica Pegula since the season of Claying means that a upheaval cannot be entirely excluded. Last year, the finalist is a much better hard court player than Anna Blinkova to her best. The match will probably be competitive for long spells, but Pegula should win.
Prediction: PEGULA in 3
Ilemona: Pegula hit the ground running in its opening and consistency on the hard shorts is well established. Blinkova can be dangerous when it finds its range, but it has not shown this level in recent weeks. Follow the pace in prolonged gatherings will be a large demand.

Elena Rybakina vs Tereza Valentova
Jordan: Tereza Valentova has been excellent since the qualification, which means that Elena Rybakina cannot afford a complacency here. But the shape of Kazakhstani has improved considerably since the end of Wimbledon, and I expect it to have too much firepower for Valentova to manage.
Prediction: Rybakina in 2
Ilemona: Rybakina supported her first round and brings the type of firepower who regularly wins her matches on this surface. Valentova impressed during his beginnings but still lacks experience at this level. It is a steep climb to correspond to this kind of shooting.

Yesh: Barbora Krejcikova dismantled Victoria Mboko in the first round. Uchijima will probably treat with the variety of Krejcikova a little better than Mboko, but not much.

Alexandra Eala vs Cristina Bucsa
Jordan: It will be very different from Eala’s previous round against Clara Tauson, which she surprisingly defeated 1 to 5 in the decisive set. Cristina Bucsa does not play with much rhythm despite the fact of categorically hitting the ball. I think that Alexandra Eala and her passionate fans could return to reality in a way that most will not see coming.
Prediction: Bucsa in 3
Ilemona: Eala rides confidence after a victory composed in the first round, and its constant reference game gives it a platform. Bucsa has more kilometers at the tour and can be taken over effectively once tested. It seems that it could be transformed into a tight and grind-out-out battle.
