Ultra-transformed foods add additional calorie fat and disrupt hormones

Ultra -transformed foods are not content to pack books – they change the body in a hidden way.
In a closely controlled study, young men won more fat on a processed diet even when the number of calories was the same as unprocessed meals. The researchers also found disturbing points in chemicals derived from plastic, as well as testosterone drops and other key fertility hormones.
Obesity, diabetes and decline
In the past 50 years, type 2 obesity and diabetes have climbed considerably, while the quality of the sperm has regularly decreased. A factor that can fuel these disturbing changes is the growing dependence on ultra-transformed foods, which have been linked to many health problems. What scientists are still debating is whether the prejudice comes from industrial ingredients, transformation methods or simply because these foods make people eat more than the people they need.
A new study provides new information. Researchers have found that people gain more weight when they eat an ultra-suitable diet compared to a minimum processing diet, even if the two contained exactly the same number of calories. The human test also revealed that ultra-transformed meals exhibited participants at higher levels of pollutants already linked to the decline in the quality of sperm. The work was published in the journal Cellular metabolism.
Prove hidden
“Our results prove that ultra-treble foods harm our reproductive and metabolic health, even if they are not eaten in excess.
Same calories, different results
To obtain the best possible data, scientists have compared the impact on the health of unprocessed and ultra-transformed diets on the same person. They recruited 43 men aged 20 to 35, who spent three weeks on each of the two regimes, with three months of washing between the two. Half started on the ultra-transformation and half started on the unprocessed diet. Half of the men also received a speed -rich diet with 500 additional daily calories, while half received the normal quantity of calories for their size, age and physical activity levels. They didn’t tell them what diet they were. Unprocessed and ultra-tail regimes had the same amount of calories, proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
Men have gained approximately 1 kg of more fat during the ultra-transformed diet compared to the unprocessed regime, whether under the normal or excess caloric diet. Several other markers of cardiovascular health have also been affected.
Ultra processed foods polluted by toxins
Scientists also discovered a disturbing increase in the level of phthalate disturbing the CXMINP hormone, a substance used in plastics, in men under an ultra-suitable diet. The men of this diet also saw a decrease in their levels of testosterone and hormone stimulating the follicles, which are crucial for the production of sperm.
“We were shocked by the number of bodily functions disturbed by ultra-transformed foods, even in healthy young men. The long -term implications are alarming and highlight the need to revise nutritional guidelines to better protect against chronic diseases, “explains the principal professor of the Roman Study Barrés, of the University of the NNF Center for Basic Center of the University of Copenhagen.
