UFC Fixing Fight: “I Will Be Your Worst Enemy”

Dana White has confirmed that the FBI is investigating suspicious betting activity surrounding Isaac Dulgarian’s first-round loss to Yadier del Valle at UFC Vegas 110. Hours before the fight, UFC integrity partner IC360 alerted the promotion of large bets on Del Valle to win early.

White said the UFC immediately contacted Dulgarian and his lawyer to check for possible injuries or debt issues, which was denied. It is now revealed that the organization called the FBI from inside the arena after Dulgarian was quickly submitted in the first round.

Dulgarian was released from the UFC on Sunday and the Nevada Athletic Commission withheld his fight scholarship pending further review. White confirmed that FBI agents met with him twice this week and collected all the information needed for the case.

Speaking during a recent appearance on The Jim Rome ShowWhite made it clear that any attempt to manipulate fights would be treated as a criminal act. He said:

“Around one in the afternoon we got a call from our company IC360… So we called the kid and said, ‘Do you owe anyone money? Are you injured? Is something going on with this fight?” And he and his lawyer both said no… The fight happened and it ended in the first round. I literally went back to my room in the back of the arena and called the FBI.”

White added:

“There are rumors that hundreds of fights are being investigated in the UFC. It’s all bullshit. None of it is true. We know of two cases. Fighters saying they were approached to fight and never told us, it’s a strange thing, but it’s a real thing. This kid hasn’t been found guilty yet. It doesn’t look good, but there’s no concrete evidence. If you come here and try to cheat or rig fights, I will be your worst enemy. I will come after you, and if you do, I will do everything in my power to put you in jail.

Oscar De La Hoya criticizes Dana White and TKO amid Isaac Dulgarian betting controversy

Oscar De La Hoya blasted Dana White and TKO following the alleged fight-fixing scandal linked to the Isaac Dulgarian fight at UFC Vegas 110.

Addressing the situation on social media, De La Hoya said:

“My friend Dana White and the UFC are under investigation by the FBI for allegedly fixing over 100 fights, with the latest one over the weekend being incredibly suspicious. I mean, wow! Was anyone really surprised? No!…I tried to tell you, these TKO guys are bastards! And now they’re trying to change the Muhammad Ali law to fuck boxers. Get out of our sport.”

De La Hoya had previously mocked White and accused TKO of corrupting combat sports while trying to reshape boxing laws through the Muhammad Ali Act Amendments. He claimed the promotion’s business model exploits fighters and undermines the integrity of the sport.
