Signs and symptoms of urinary tract infections

Urinary infections are relatively common in children. Unfortunately, the first symptoms of urinary tract infection in very young children are not always apparent. Sometimes there is no symptoms, and sometimes the child is simply unable to articulate the symptoms they experience. Regarding babies and toddlers under 2 years old, parents must connect to these signs of urinary tract infection:
- Fever (the most common symptom in those under 2 years of age, and sometimes the only one)
- Anger
- Poor diet or inability to prosper
- Slowness
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Cry by urinating
- Strong urine
- Jaundice
Meanwhile, older children usually have symptoms similar to adults, including emergency, troubled urine and pain during urination. For children who are already trained by the toilet, the mooring of the bed is also a sign of a urinary tract infection.
