New sequences of sets from the special Punisher presentation show Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, engaging in an intense combat with melee and brandishing a baseball bat. The backstage video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the user @_daredevilshots on August 4, 2025, captures a sequence involving school buses and a brutal action of narrow neighborhoods. Bernthal wears an olive green sweatshirt in the images set.
In another disclosed scene, Castle breaks the enemies of a vehicle before storming in the restaurant of my Gnucci. The sequences are based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon de Back, Frank, a scenario where Castle targets the Gnucci Crime family.
The adjustment photos confirm the inclusion of my GNUCCI, although its actor remains unidentified. Unlike its comic counterpart, which loses all its members, this version of MA is sitting in a wheelchair with all intact members.
The Punisher returns after Castle escaped the captivity of the mayor Wilson Fisk in Daredevil: Born again. This series returns in March 2026, but it is not clear if Castle will reappear. Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green co-wrote the special, with the green staging. History continues the Castle war against the anti-vigilant working group.
Bernthal confirmed that the tone remains faithful to the origins of the character. “It’s going to be dark; Frank has no interest in breaking darkness … It will not be punished, I promise you.
Disney + will be presented to the special Punisher presentation in 2026. Bernthal will also return as Frank Castle in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which should be released on theaters on July 31, 2026.
