Tyson Fury completely changes his Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul prediction as fight approaches

Tyson Fury has changed his mind when it comes to Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua.

Paul and Joshua will meet next Friday in their controversial eight-round heavyweight fight at the Kaseya Center in Miami, with the event being broadcast live on Netflix.

This is the first time Paul has faced a legitimate active boxer in his career, having spent most of his career facing former MMA fighters or aging boxers well past their prime.

His last outing saw him score a unanimous decision victory over former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in their cruiserweight fight in June, but a clash against Joshua is a whole different prospect.

Joshua is a former two-time world heavyweight champion, although his last fight in September 2024 ended in defeat when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.

Despite the loss, most figures in the boxing world are expecting a straightforward victory for AJ, although his long-time rival Fury initially backed Paul to win the fight by knockout.

With the contest now just a few days away, Fury has had a change of heart and told Ooosch TV that he expects the contest to last a full eight rounds.

I think it will go the distance and I think it will be a movement. Stitch work.

An expected victory for Joshua over ‘The Problem Child’ could pave the way for a showdown with Fury in 2026, with the two men potentially set to finally meet after being linked to each other for several years.
