Tyson Fury announces intriguing list of 3 people affected after announcing his return

Tyson Fury has revealed a three-man kill list for 2026, vowing to face at least one top opponent by the end of the year.

Just two days ago, ‘The Gypsy King’ took to social media to fully confirm his return, stating he had “nothing better to do than strike”.

The announcement came as no surprise, with Fury having spoken about a possible return since he temporarily hung up his gloves. About a year ago, the former world champion decided – albeit for a short time – to leave the sport on his terms, shortly after suffering a second points defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

Yet despite dropping out after two defeats, the manner in which he came up short against Usyk, both times in 2024, suggested he still had plenty left in the tank.

And now the 37-year-old has finally dove back, posting several clips on social media showing him training for an expected return in the coming months.

Yesterday on his Instagram Story, “The Gypsy King” revealed an image of himself looking at Usyk, Anthony Joshua and WBO world champion Fabio Wardley from across the ring, indicating that all of these heavyweights are on his target list.

Usyk could set up a trilogy fight with Fury, but is currently in talks to put his three titles on the line against Deontay Wilder. Joshua, following a fatal car crash that injured him and killed two of his closest friends, has more important things than boxing as it is. Finally, Wardley, currently looking for an opponent, may not find a bigger name in the UK if he wants to make a statement in the first defense of his belt.

All these names suggest the Morecambe man still has real ambitions to compete at the highest level in his division. However, fans can expect his first comeback fight, scheduled for the first half of this year, to take place against a lower level opponent.
