Trump has met hooks, well done

Donald Trump did his first performance in the United States in almost 10 years on Sunday and was greeted by a choir of hoots and cheers upon arrival. Trump, who came out of his suite less than an hour before the match between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, was filmed by applauding and waving the crowd.
Trump first returned to his suite before re -emerging for the national anthem, which prompted more cheers and hoots.
In particular, ABC took a commercial break when Trump was shown on the dashboard after the first set of the match. The organizers of the event had already sent an email to the broadcasters and asked them to “refrain from showing any disturbance or reaction in response to the president’s attendance in any capacity”.
The president was joined by Jared Kushner, Pam Bondi and Karoline Leavitt, as well as by the special envoy in the Middle East Steve Witkoff, the secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent and the chief of staff of the White House Susie Wiles.
The match also attended Michael J. Fox, Dakota Fanning and Kevin Hart.
Trump’s appearance caused additional security measures that delayed the start of the 30 -minute match.
When he was asked how he thought of Trump’s visit, Alcarez told journalists: “It is a privilege for tournaments to have the president of each country just to support the tournament, support tennis and support the match.”
“For me, playing in front of him, I will try not to focus on this, and I will try not to think about it. I don’t want me to be nervous because of that, but I think, attending the tennis match, it’s great for tennis to bring the president in the final,” he continued.
